WEDDING DAY PACKAGES

Photography Prices

Prices and packages for wedding photography can get a bit confusing, so I’ve kept mine as simple as possible.

Almost all couples want me for the whole of their wedding day – normally about nine hours – from getting ready until well into the evening dancing. (Of course, if you’re planning a shorter wedding, contact me and I’ll send you a bespoke quote.)

To secure my services for your big day, all you have to do is:

  • get in touch to check my availability and send me details of your plans
  • arrange a time to have a quick chat
  • pay an initial booking fee of £300
  • complete a short wedding agreement document.

And that’s it! We would arrange to meet nearer the time (or catch up online) to run through your final plans.

See details below of what’s in my Full-Day Package and the optional add-ons available. Also below are FAQs.

FOR YOU & GENERATIONS TO COME

Fine-art Wedding Album

In this age of digital images I’m a big believer in the printed image – especially wedding albums. So many pictures these days sit in hard drives, never to see the light of day. A printed image is special, perhaps more now than at any other time since photography was invented. That’s why there’s nothing like a beautifully made, carefully designed wedding album to be held, shared and enjoyed again and again, by you and generations to come.

The albums I design are handmade in Yorkshire by Folio Albums using high quality fine art paper. They are simply the best albums I’ve seen anywhere. Here is a short film about what Folio Albums are like and how they are made. When we meet up I will also bring along an album for you to look at.

“Wow! Wow! Wow! These photos are incredible.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

Although I’m based near Brighton in Sussex, I travel all over the UK and beyond to photograph weddings.

I’m a documentary wedding photographer. Some people call it reportage or photojournalistic wedding photography. It just means that I look to capture the genuine emotion, humour and beauty of your day, and visually tell the story of how it unfolds, without asking you or your guests to pose or move here and there. In my view, this approach makes for the best and most memorable pictures.

Yes I do. Most couples want a few posed pictures of themselves, and some group shots with family and friends. But it’s totally up to you. If you do, I would suggest keeping the number of groups to a minimum so as not to disrupt the flow of the day or keep you from your guests for too long. We can discuss how best to do this at our pre-wedding meeting.

Yes, of course. I nearly always try to arrange to meet my clients at the wedding venue a few weeks before the big day to say hello and to run through the final plans for your wedding – times, exact locations, etc. Or if that’s not convenient we can chat on the phone or online?

All your high resolution images will be placed on a private gallery with password protection within 3 weeks of your wedding day.

Before that you will receive a slideshow with music containing a selection of your images. I usually send this within 1-2 weeks of your wedding day

Yes you are. You can buy beautiful high-quality prints and bespoke, framed pictures etc directly from your online gallery, or you can download the files and print them yourself.

You also have permission to use the images as you wish, as long as it’s not for commercial use.

Yes, I am fully insured. I have both professional indemnity and public liability insurance. You should always make sure any photographer (or any other supplier) is fully insured.

It’s very easy. All you have to do is get in touch to check if I’m available. You might also want to have a chat over the phone/online to find out more first. If I am available and you’re happy to go ahead and book me, I will send you my standard wedding agreement to sign and send back to me (all professional wedding photographers require this). Once I have that, and a non-refundable deposit for £300, I will secure your date. The rest of the fee is due no more than 4 weeks before your wedding day. And that’s it! Simple really.

Yes I do. I use high-end Canon cameras and lenses.

Yes I can. All my pictures are individually edited and processed by me. Most couples are happy to leave it to me to decide when an image looks better in colour or black & white and therefore receive a mix of both. But it’s up to you. I’m also happy to produce a handful of the same pictures in both colour and black & white at no extra cost.

I haven’t missed a wedding yet. But if for some extreme reason I can’t photograph your wedding I will do everything I can to find a professional photographer with a similar style. I’m also a member of a large group of UK professional wedding photographers who are used to stepping in to help in an emergency.
